Privacy Policy

Ogata Mobility Services Ltd, 24 Ikorodu Road, Jibowu, Yaba, Lagos, is the data controller for personal information collected through this platform. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

We collect only what is needed to carry you safely and account for the journey:

• Identity and contact details, name, phone number, email address, gender and date of birth
• Identification details recorded for boarding verification
• Emergency contact details you choose to provide
• Booking and travel history, including seats, routes and dates
• Payment status and the last four digits of a card, supplied by our payment partners
• Technical data such as IP address and device type, for security and fraud prevention

We do not collect or store full card numbers, expiry dates or CVV codes. Card details are entered directly with our licensed payment partners and never reach our systems.

To perform our contract with you: issuing tickets, allocating seats, processing payments and refunds, and providing customer support.

For our legitimate interests: preventing fraud, securing the platform, and improving our services.

To meet legal obligations: passenger manifests, tax records and lawful requests from authorities.

We share personal data with payment processors, messaging providers and, where required, regulatory authorities. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Booking and financial records are retained for seven years to satisfy accounting and tax obligations. Account data is retained while your account is open and for twelve months afterwards.

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where we have no continuing obligation to keep it, and a copy of your data in a portable format. Contact privacy@ogatamobility.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to hold your seats during checkout. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
